I recently watched the original TV series as I got the DVD. Now I love the film + I think it has many positive points so I'm not get into slagging one off against the other. I got a study guide to Brideshead Revisited (because I am still not over my Brideshead feels) + it was the only one I could find - by Shmoop + it was terrible. Really badly written with typos throughout + I thought the analysis of the book wasn't that good + they wasted so much time/space basically just rehashing the events of the book. I got Brideshead Revisited last night + I read it all in one go (I can be a fast reader when I want). I really liked it + thought it was beautifully written.
